Support HDMI Audio Formats: LPCM 2/5.1/7.1CH, Dolby Digital, DTS 5.1, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X. If you have an existing HDMI AV receiver that can support these formats, then use this unit, no need to upgrade to an HDMI v2.0 receiver; HD audio signal goes to the pre-HDMI v2.0 AV receiver, and video signal goes to the HDMI v2.0 TV directly. 

ARC audio is available from the optical and HDMI out2 outputs, not available for analog stereo output. 

It has one HDMI input, to be connected to the HDMI source unit, such as AppleTV 4K. It has two HDMI outputs, output 1 is to be connected to the video display, output 1 signal has both video and audio, identical to HDMI input signal; output 2 to be connected to HDMI AV receiver. It has one optical audio output, which supports audio format up to Dolby Digital Plus. It has one 3.5mm analog L/R output for headset application, it supports incoming HDMI stereo audio D2A conversion.
